Physical thermostat on Hassio - for ex: Moes BHT-002

Hi

To finally modernize heating control i search for some solution to allow family to control temperature. Including scheduling temperatures in each room.

I don’t find any control in Hassio to create schedule (excluding Python scripting or automation - but this is not user friendly) :slight_smile:

I think to use some physical device - like Moes BHT-002. To test I bough one with zigbee.
It works but:

  1. Local time is lost whenever device lost power…
  2. Create a program, or change program is possible only from device…

maybe using additional Tuya Zigbee Gateway is an option.

Do you have experience with those devices? Maybe WiFi is better option? With some API to remotely adjust time, upload basic scheduler…

Maybe there is other better devices…

Hi, I hope that you already solved your problems. But for other guys who someday will find this topic I want to explain that usage of physical thermostat is about controlling it via automations or link it to AVG temperature of your house or only 1st floor. If you need to set a time and programs then you can use any thermostat w/o HA.

My goal is to customize work to needs of my family, to reduce bills, to make it fully smart
