I have my floorplan with all my devices that were all added manually in the yaml editor, I love the view. I don’t mind doing Scaling, Adding, Etc in the YAML Editor, but please please please can we have drag and drop for the Entity icons, manually settings positions with % is so tedious and forget about updating your floorplan. Even if the Preview in the Editor would actually mirror the output so you don’t have to Save, Tweak, Save, Tweak, over and over would be wonderful.

Creating floor plans with Picture Elements Card is very difficult. Scaling of the card and the items in the card does not automatically resize on different screen types, eg mobile, tablet and PC.
Also locating the various elements on the picture elements card is very tedious.
These often go out of proportion and need to be scaled to compensate.
Please introduce drag and drop feature to the floorplan dashboard.
Also make this scale to whatever size screen it is viewed on.

Would love such a feature! Even without adaptive/responsive design a visual editor would be a huge improvement. Just use percent values and not pixels for a baisc responsiveness (the editor should be configurabe to use one or the other though)

This is “the” feature. New sections view is hot for smartphones, but for stationary tablets, picture elements is the way to go. I mean, if you go to a wall to control your home, you just need to touch one element, not to start scrolling, changing tab, look for the entity, …

Many other supervisors give the ability do build the page visually, organizing images, buttons and text in a free-form canvas. This editor is a must have for building graphically complex pages, like home theatre remotes, floorplans, HVAC control panels etc…

Bumping this one as can’t believe this is the current way of moving objects on a Picture Elements Card

I agree, this feature is what i am hoping will be released.
this would boost flexibility
and make the picture element accessible to everyone

it takes too much work to just create a basic floor plan with light control.
