Picture glance changing image with 2 entities

I hope someone will be able to help me,
the problem I’m facing is that I have electrical shutters and a light. and I want them to be representedwith an image so I’ll have 4 images for 4 options:

  • when the shutters are up and the light is on.
  • when the shutters are down and the light is on.
    and the same with the lights off.

I know i can work with the css and the brightness to represent the lights but i only saw the option of controling the picture glace with one entity.

if someone would be kind to at least let me know the direction to look and search on i’ll be glad.
and if you have the solution it’ll be even better.

Hi, I think the best way here is to use a template sensor, have a look here:


You can create one with an corresponding icon template for your use case. For example it could look like this:

  {{'mdi:icon1' if is_state('light.some_light', 'on') else 'mdi:icon2'}}
{% else %}
  {{'mdi:icon3' if is_state('light.some_light', 'on') else 'mdi:icon4'}}

I decided to go on the dashboard route so I won’t need that.
