Picture with link to external web address

Hello,

i want to create a view within my HA to have small pictues linked to external web addresses.
Just tried to do so using the ‘picture cards’, but these seem to only work within Lovelace.

Note: I am running Raspbian with HA, not HASS-IO.

Any ideas how i can get this? Thanks for your feedback in advance!

Thanks for the fast answer, but this is not what i am looking for.

To explain in more detail for one entity:

  1. use a (static) picture (created by myself and stored in the www folder).
  2. include this in the Lovelace config to show up in a view
    So far just as explained in the picture card in lovelyace docs which shows the green door picture
  3. if i click on this picture, it should refer to an external website which is opened on a new tab.

Hope this explains it better.

No, did not do any follow up. Instead, used iframe to show the most used webpage content. Works for me

I’ve been playing with this. How do you link the ext-weblink to a picture element? I can’t seem to figure out how to make the image into a clickable link.
