Pioneer Mini Split system USB WiFi controls

I have one of these dongles, and it works with the App on my phone, should I be able to interact with the system with Home Assistant

Their API isn’t open. no joy. Doesn’t work with Smartthings either. Thought they claim they are working on ST api… I doubt it.

I happen to be working on reverse engineering their protocol for a project - I’ll let you know if I get anywhere.

@benmoto was curious if you had made any progress on this? Would be willing to help collaborate and problem solve if that would be useful!

I would be willing to help test and troubleshoot as well. Pioneer 12k mini split here.
