Platform Nest Error - Gone in 60 seconds

I’ve been seeing this error recently on startup…

2018-08-17 08:59:25 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.sensor] Setup of platform nest is taking longer than 60 seconds. Startup will proceed without waiting any longer.

Once this happens all my nest components don’t show up. (Cameras, protects, thermostats)

This seems to have started on my system yesterday.

Got the same problem, it some how fixed itself but now it’s back.

I’m seeing this, too. About 30 to 50% of the time I restart HA, this happens. And when it happens, it takes the system much longer than usual to complete startup and become responsive on the web interface. I’m on 0.75.2.

So that is exactly the same, I’m trying to pin it down but it feels like the nest service is running slow. I get some oddities in The official nest app, by that I mean when I alter the temperature it takes 10+ seconds to reflect the change on the controllers. Normally it’s next to instant.

I also get the slow startup of HA, rebooting the host is also the same.

I’m running on pi3

It’s a known problem on the Nest end. The developers introduced a fix for 0.76.

According to this post, Nest acknowledged and fixed the REST Streaming API.
