Play specific YouTube/mp4 video on Roku TV

Hello,

I’m working on a project where I need a specific YouTube video or local mp4 file to play on my Roku tv when executed in a Home Assistant automation. I’ve searched for hours on existing methods to do this, but it seems like many are obsolete since Roku’s latest software update.

Recently upgraded my Roku TV and have run into the same issue where deeplinking YouTube videos no longer works via the documented method. I’ve opened this issue about it.
