Hi everyone,
I’m trying to fix HomeKit “no response” issues and have found a number of topics that point to GitHub pages (which I don’t know how to use), and posts like these that suggest using “pip install…” to install a dev branch of HAP-python. Unfortunately I have no understanding of python or virtual environments. My Hassio instance runs on a virtual machine on my PC. How would I go about installing a “dev branch of HAP-python” in this instance, is there a handy step-by-step guide I could follow?
