Please HELP! Homeassistant running after restore but lovelace not reachable

Hi,
The old machine I was using for Homeassitant broke down. I was running Oracle VM Bo met home assitant. I installed it on an other machine. While onboarding I got the option to go ahead with a excisting back-up. Great I thought I had a recent back-up and expected to be up and running in now time.
Homeassistant is indeed running again (I get notifications and can interact via the prompt. I can not access home assistant through my browser or the companion app on my phone.
I used host info and verified that the hostname is still what I used before. Everything seems normal, I just can’t get a connection from browser or app.
How can I reconnect with my homeassistant in an GUI ??

This is the error I get in the browser; "Unable to connect to Home Assistant.

Retrying in … seconds"

try IP adress instead of hostname?

I tried that too, same result.

Update: I still don’t get why I can’t just restore a backup and continue using homeassistant like before but I finally got partial access again in some way.

I can now access my homeassistant through https://.local:8123/lovelace/default_view but with a warning that it is not safe. The compagnion app does not allow me to connect through this adress but I get the notifications on my phone.
Normally the adress was : https://
.duckdns.org:8123 but that still doesn’t work.

If I give command “host info” I get :
hostname: **.duckdns.org
llmnr_hostname: ** What is this??

If i give command “banner” I get:
OS version: Home Assistant OS 8.4
Home Assistant Core: 2022.8.5
Home Assistant URL : http://.duckdns.org.local:8123 (Why local in this adress? )
Observer URL: http://
.duckdns.org.local:4357 (this adress doesn’t work either.)

Is there anyone that can help me get to a normal working home assistant on a save URL??
