Please help with adding light devices? (probably something simple)

I’m totally confused and stumped.

I have several lights connected to my google home app. I can see them and use them thru google home app with no problems. I connected my Home Assistant to my google home. When I make a switch in Node Red I can see it appear on google home.

The problem:
None of my lights import to Home Assistant. I can see my google home speakers but no lights. How do I add my connected lights to Home Assistant? None are showing under entities.

I think only the other way around works. If you have light connected in HA, then you can expose it to Google Home.

But if the light is added via Google Home, you cannot expose it to Home Assistant.

UPDATE!! Fixed

I had to connect all my devices thru the smart life app instead of the other apps like Geeni. Every device now shows under entity.
