No luck reflashing the ESP32 from inside the module, the boot is locked and can’t be unlocked.
The only hardware solution is to change the ESP32 from the small expansion board, I have ordered on Aliexpress but it will take at least one month to get to me. Will replay with updates.

I have success by using Xiaomi MIoT
All working well no need to mess with the hardware

For me it used to work with the “xiami-miot” but it doesn’t work anymore, is it the same for you ?
