Plugwise integration wants me to connect Adam instead of Anna thermostat

I have quite an argument with the Plugwise integration [Plugwise - Home Assistant] in Home Assistant:

I run Home Assistant OS (updated to the latest version) and recently purchased a Plugwise thermostat (Anna) with the accompanying Smile T gateway). In any case, I can’t seem to get this working in Home Assistant. The integration is neatly recognized in HA:

So as soon as I press configure and enter my ID there, I only get the ‘error message’ that I have to add Adam instead of Anna. Reference is made to the documentation, but I cannot find this in the documentation unfortunately. Also, I don’t own an Adam. The Anna and Smile_T gateway are the only Plugwise devices I own.

If I manually select the integration from the list and enter the ID / IP, I get the same error message. It’s as if HA recognizes it, but not as the right device or something like that.

The thermostat works fine via the Plugwise app / local web address and does the job just fine (heating), but Home Assistant does not want to work with the thing in one way or another.

I’ve searched a lot and it seems that I’m the only user in the world with this message, I really don’t know what else I can try or where I can go.

Any help is really appreciated.

Ok, I will have a look to see what could be wrong.

Did you buy this Anna 2nd hand?
If yes, I think this Anna has been connected to an Adam before.

Try hard-resetting you Smile_T, press the reset-button for 15 seconds, that should factory-reset the device and remove all previous history.

Ah that’s it! Yes, I bought it second hand. I only put it in pairing mode when I got it and forgot to reset. Thank you so much! I got it in Home Assistant now. Awesome.
