Sorry for the late response, I don’t spend a lot of time on forums and just found this topic, but as they say: better late than never
I can confirm that ecoMAX 860D3-HB is indeed working fine with the integration, since one of the users from France successfully uses this device with similar setup.
However, judging from your diagram, it seems, that you’ve wired the adapter incorrectly.
Correct way as listed in the integration README:
===============================
USR-TCP232-304 -> G4
===============================
A -> D+
B -> D-
G -> GND (try without it first)
Than again, there’s been a lot of changes since October, so there might’ve been some issue that got fixed since then.
Hi, it seems most automated pellet boilers in Central/east Europe use plum or tech. I contacted these two plus pw key, pw key responded best, sent me rs485 spec., No BS. Now I kinda hate touchscreens everywhere, especially it does not make sense for me in the pellet boiler.
I’m now considering plum based ones as almost no one uses pw key controllers. Especially since I want combination pellet + wood.
Can I change touchscreen for non touchscreen while keeping the “base” boiler unit with all the connections?
Can the controller in boiler be changed for different brand and just connect sensors etc. That are in the boiler?
I do not understand where the ash goes when burning pellets, from the pictures it seems there is in most cases no dedicated ash container under the pellet burner.
Sorry for kinda general questions, but I’m new in world of solid fuel boilers and sellers are not much help really
