PoE door access controllers

I’ve done some searching but haven’t found anything super clear yet…

Does anyone have experience integrating a “commercial grade” PoE-powered door access controller (i.e. backend for a card reader/keypad and electric strike controller) with HA?

I am considering GitHub - esprfid/esp-rfid: ESP8266 RFID (RC522, PN532, Wiegand, RDM6300) Access Control system featuring WebSocket, JSON, NTP Client, Javascript, SPIFFS as one option, but wired network access with PoE is already possible for me, so I’d much rather use that than WiFi plus a dedicated DC power supply per entryway, for security/reliability/ease of installation.

looks like a great project

actually i am looking for Access control RFID/Keypad reader to control Yale strike lock and to be integrated with Home Assistant
