Polling intervals for SNMP devices

I am running on a Pi 1 and I am polling a router for uptime. At boot I keep getting the following messages and sometimes while the system is running…

WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.sensor] Updating snmp sensor took longer than the scheduled update interval 0:00:10

Can I change how often this is polled? I do not need to know withing the course of seconds… every couple of minutes would be fine. Yes, trying to shed some load on the system.

Will the improve if I go to a Pi 2 or Pi 3? The instance seems very slow. Only 4 light groups, 1 switch and weather underground.

Had this issue. Resolved by adding scan_interval. Not well documented ATM. It’s an inherited property from the entity class.
