Poolcop integration?

I have this system installed since this season.
@clockworkor do you have your code somewhere? Do you need some help with development?

hi @clockworkor is there any news on thisone?

ping @clockworkor

Hi
I’ve tried getting things to work using the API.
I’ve made this repo for the integration and it seems to work.

Well that is absolutely great news :clap:t2: and really appreciated.
Working perfectly with my api key! Many thanks

Any change to add some entities in the future?
Like last backwash, last refill, switch to activate backwash, waterlevel indication, valve position, …?
Your integration is based on a 5 minute polling interval. Any idea to make that customizable (let’s say to 30s)?
I am definitely not a developer  but I see the integration doesn’t create a device related to it, just the entities. Which work of course great. But is there any reason for that?

For anyone interested.
@sstriker made a full poolcop integration and it’s working great! :rocket:
You can find more info on his github: GitHub - sstriker/hass-poolcop: PoolCop pool automation integration for Home Assistant · GitHub
And it’s available on HACS.

Many thanks @sstriker !

Hi All,

Does anyone know if something has changed recently? I ask, because it isn't obvious on how to get an API key. https://poolcopilot.com/api/ is forbidden, but the docs link still works. On the my.poolcop.com website I can get an API key, but that doesn't seem to work with this integration(and the poolcopilot.com api).

I am just wondering with the impending shut down of the poolcopilot.com/api that maybe they removed access to requesting an API key?

I heard @sstriker mentioned that they are working on a new api ...

Whenever I login into my old poolcopilot I gives me the following message:

When you login to the new platform/app you can go to your account settings on the right top and select API but it seems it's still in beta.

So I guess something new is comming ...
