According to my router, I have port 443 and 8123 open and pointed to the ip for my homeassistant server. That said when I look on canyouseeme.org i can see that 8123 is open, but 443 isn’t working. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong, but I am trying to set up actionable notifications via alexa and it is my understanding that in order for alexa to access the instance I need 443 opened. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Did port 443 ever worked for something else?
It’s not uncommon for ISP’s to block access to ports 80, 443,… for security reasons. Mine do, and I had to explicitly ask them to open them up so that they could be reach my router.
