Portainer stuck on "validating license"

Hi there,

I have the portainer addon installed. There is an option to get a free (limited) business edition key, which I obtained from the portainer website.

When I enter my key through the portainer GUI, it is stuck forever on “validating license”. Any idea on how to resolve this?

Yeah, it tries to change the container from the portainer to the portainer-ee container, which isn’t supported within an add-on. Alternatively you can install the portainer BE add-on from here:
