Possible To Automate Muting or Do Not Disturb on Echo / Alexa devices from HA?

From what I’ve read there’s no way to remotely send the mute command or Do Not Disturb to Echo / Alexa devices. Is this correct?

After having some guests over last night, I was thinking how great it would be to disable the audio commands on Echo / Alexa devices since with that many people having fun, it can quickly get out of hand.

Any clever ideas or suggestions using Home Assistant? Maybe thinking “guest mode” could disable the network connection to those devices or something as a workaround…

The only option I found so far is to set each alexa on a different wifi network and disable the network via unifi api or block the internet for that device from the router… The “ugly” solution would be a servo and a color sensor to get state…
