I’m considering changing out my baseboard heating for graphene PTC film underfloor heating. (Would love folks opinion on that but this is not why I’m here)
I’m wondering if its possible to combine a thermostat with a smart display. I know some of these systems have built-in relays that can control 240v, presumably this could act as the modulator, and some sort of temperature sensor could function as the floor sensor telling when to apply power?
For simple rooms where it has only 1 light circuit and 1 heating circuit presumably this would work great?
I have thought about a few obstacles, the max wattage of these relays would be a challenge, as would insurance etc. Provided those 2 could be solved is this a viable idea, if so has anyone any device recommendations?
