POWCT power accuracy

Hi all,
I bought a sonoff powCT and installed it. I have the latest esphome firmware on it, and configuration taken from Sonoff POW Ring (POWCT) | devices.esphome.io

Works fine but I don’t think it accurately measures power correctly. The config doesn’t seem to have any calibration params or such. I’m looking for tips or advice. My house has a 4kw geyser but the HA power levels never go above 2kw. My utility meter also outpaces HA “total daily energy” values. How would I diagnose it?
Thanks.

Hi,

I have the same problem. I had an electrician come out. The mains measure 235w and when the 3kw geyser kicks in, the house measures 1183w. I happen to have a spare with the stock firmware on. That device with the same testing measured over 4kw. Oh and when exceeding the 4kw, the ESPHome flashed POWCT actually drops it’s reading to 537w

Did you happen to find any solution?
