I put together a little project that uses a raspberry pi zero and camera to monitor the LCD display of a PureFlow QT7 fan and report the current power level into HA.
I also set up a dynamic template switch in HA that calls a web service on the pi that sends IR commands to toggle the power on and off.
I’m guessing that, at most, there might be one other person on Earth that has this fan, the basic electronics skills to solder a few things on a breadboard, and enough interest in automation to put the effort in.
