Power / Network LEDs in Raspberry Pi 4?

Hi,

I’ve seen a thread saying this wasn’t possible with RPi 3s. I have Hass.io on a RPi 4, and of course, there’s the big red LED power indicator, the little green activity LED, and the ethernet port’s LEDs.

If I could turn off the big red power LED, it may save me a few milliamps and this would help for my UPS project. Any ideas how to do this programmatically (there are ways of doing it from “native” Raspbian).

I can query and set GPIO data in Hass.io but what about the LEDs?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Ambi
