i bring portable air conditioning from Kesser to HA

esp8266 d1-mini
8-way relays, 7 of which are in use
DS18B20 temperature sensor
water level sensor
Power supply 220V to 5V

The display is switched with a button, so I can use a relay to switch the corresponding things. Switch trigger 100ms

I made a fine code with ESP-Home… in addition, a small automation so that when I switch it on, the device makes the desired settings directly

So far it works fine.

but…

What I would like to have in HA is that the ESP recognizes that the air conditioning is also on… maybe. tap the voltage from the power LED and use it as a status.

how can i this realized?

But aren’t the relays connected to the ESP in control if the AC is on (or off)? Might just use an template (binary)sensor in that case which get’s it’s state from the relay/switch states :bulb:
