Precision not working as expected after 2025.1.4 update

Specs:

Core 2025.1.4
Supervisor 2024.12.3
Operating System 14.1
Frontend 20250109.2

After updating Core to 2025.1.4, precision settings aren’t working as expected. For example, I have a LocalTuya Thermometer set like this:

Instead of displaying 126, it displays 125.78. Changing to one of the other precision settings (such as 125.78000) has no effect and sometimes displays in the 125.8 precision instead of what I’ve selected. So far I see this on my LocalTuya thermometer and my OpenWeather “Feels Like Temperature.” Both were set to round and display no decimals and were working up just until I updated the system (I had occasion to look at both numbers about 30 seconds before upgrading).

Is anyone else experiencing this, and is there a solution?

And just as quickly as it came, it disappeared! While I was typing this report, I referenced it several times and it was still showing multiple decimal places. Without any changes or restarts of HA, both temp sensors are back to the selected precision. Weird!

You probably had to wait for an updated and changed value of the sensor state.

That was my initial thought, but the temperature changed multiple times over the 20-30 minutes it took me to write the post and then the github issue which I then closed. All along it kept one or more decimals. The feels like temp didn’t change much but the temperature of the water coming from my wood boiler constantly cycles up and down. Oh well it’s fixed anyway!
