sorry I am just starting with HA … so if this is a stupic question I apologize.
I see integrations somehow control the naming of entities differently.
Some just create entities like sensor.electricconsumptionX
Others neatly cluster entities with a prefix like: sensor.shellygarage_electricconsumption
the second version is much easier to e.g. find entities in grafana for me as all belonging to one device are in order.
is there a setting or something somewhere that all entities always have something like a prefix.
I would wnat to avoid renaming tons of entities manually.
Also I saw in advanced mode there is a pop up coming up asking if all entities should be renamed when editing the device. But this works sometimes… sometimes not. (not sure if the pop up comes always but is actually only really working when renaming the first time?)
