Hello,
I set device tracker (asuswrt). In my network I have some tplinks extenders, they change part of MAC adress (first third octects) of the devices connected to them.
For example.
True mac: FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF
mac showed by extender 12:34:56:FF:FF:FF

So I have in HA doubled all devices, with true mac and mac from extenders. Is there any way to eliminate this? Maybe detection by 3 last octects, name?

Mine changes last octets and the only solution I’ve found is to group them. But this means I have to make groups for every single device I want to trak in my network and this is quite annoying.

I wonder if there’s a way to set up tplink as device_tracker so HA can get the real MAC. I’m using the TL-WA850RE TP-Link extender.
