Presence Detection states stuck

I noticed after I left the house this morning that all of my presence detection states are stuck. asuswrt show all 3 phones as home, while all 3 are out of the house. All 3 bluetooth trackers(built in raspi bluetooth tracking phone bluetooth) are stuck on not home. My son came home from school, and bluetooth tracking for him still says not_home. Repeat restarts on HA, the Pi itself, and the router have not fixed it.

The trackers have been working flawlessly for about a year now. This just started this morning with none of the equipment being touched.

The debug log of my son coming home.

I’m seeing the same issue under Hassio 1:10 since upgrading to 0.78.1. No detection of state change is seen and my phone is permanently showing as at Home. It was working perfectly until then. Anybody else having bluetooth tracker issues not working?

I tried everything, including manually going into the database and deleting all status record like device_tracker.* in case there was a strange caching issue. Didn’t help.

Finally, I simply went in and manually set the states of the asuswrt and bluetooth trackers to away. Then when I came home, they started working again. So try hopping over to the dev-state tab and manually set them.

Well I was going to take a look at that when today quite bizarrely it’s started working fine again after some 4 days of not and without any intervention on my part. Certainly strange behaviour but for now hopefully it will be fine again.

Thanks for the reply though.
