Presence detection with ping

Hi all,
I configured successfully the presence detection with ping; the only thing is that the system understand that I stay at home in more or less 15 seconds, but it understand that I don’t stay at home in 3 minutes…why this behavior?

Because modern mobile phones turn off WiFi when they’re idle.

Bluetooth is a much better way of detecting the presence, or absence, of a mobile phone.
