I have a special use case with my presence detection.
I’m using espresense for my local presense detection.
I ordered some cheap Bluetooth Beacons to detect if my car is at home or not. Espresnse provides a distance entry for every presense sensor. That’s working fine so far.
My idea is to track with the distance if the car is in front of the garage or in the garage.
But I didn’t get the template sensor working for this use case. I did get it working with an automation but it’s not nice.
Have anyone an idea for an template sensor? I tried some things but I’m no expert in templating.
