Preserve historic data when sensor has been replaced

Hello,

For some time I’ve a working integration with an Envoy Enphase (solar panel converters), logging my solar production. Today the Communications Gateway has been replaced due to an hardware issue, resulting in a new integration discovery with different Entity ID’s.
Is it possible to link the new ID’s to the existing history data (statistics)?

Note: I’m not in control of the name of the new Gateway.

Just rename the new entities with the old entity ID names. As long as you get them mapped correctly it should just pick up and continue on.
