Preventing house battery from charging EV during intelligent octopus go charging sessions out of off peak times

Firstly I’m a total dunce using HA green. I downloaded the automations from bottle cap dave (thanks for that Dave). But can’t get the sensors to register when IOG chooses to charge my car outside of off peak times and turn my powerwall to 100% backup power thus preventing it from charging my legacy Tesla S whilst allowing cheap rate electricity from the grid to do so. I can see the sensors are there. The intelligent dispatching sensor remains off and the intelligent state sensor remains unknown. Anyone any ideas how to reconfigure them?

Hi, did you get anywhere with this? I’ve just set up the Octopus integration after the Ohme charger restricted third party access a few days ago. I’m trying to do exactly what you are but not sure on which Trigger is best for the automation.

I tried the Intelligent slot on/off sensor but don’t think it worked. That could have been because I was faffing with the settings trying to get an off peak slot yesterday evening to test it. Wondering if the Dispatch slot sensor would work better.
