In Belgium quite a few locations are not connected to the municipal gas infrastructure.
For these sites, Primagaz can come and install a tank on the premises which they can monitor from a distance using some telemtry device installed on top of the tank. I don’t know if it uses the SigFox network, 2G, 4G or some other network to get the information back to them but it works. When your tanks reaches 20% they get an alarm and come to fill up the tank.
As a customer you can log in to mijn.primagaz.be and see the state of your tank. (mijn.primagaz.be/consumption)
Would it be possible to have an integration of this in home assistant?
Generally (not always) Integrations start as Custom Integration’s until they are stable and debugged before being added to core. That is the place to look first.
Home Assistant is Open source and most of the integrations start in the community.
I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you are saying.
What is a CI? (for me CI are configuration items…)
Where do I find CI’s?
Am I not posting this request in the home assistant community?
I edited my response, sorry for the confusion on CI but I was referring to Custom Integrations written by others in GitHub meant for use with Home Assistant. You can find them in Github, and you can find some in the HACS loader Custom Integration.
There may already be something out there that does what you want and that person/repo/project is the one to bug to get it added to HA core.
If there is none available then I cannot advise, you would need to find someone who would like to contribute something.
