I think that my installation cratered when it tried to update a month or two ago. Its at a second house, and was unresponsive over the ethernet and via the app. I brought the unit home and hooked it up to a monitor and keyboard and get this …
I cannot say that I understand a whole lot of linux, and I cannot see how to scroll up to see other messages. Perhaps this makes sense to y’all. It looks like I am now at some prompt, but I don’t know what I should be doing.
I’d like to keep my install, but obviously would like to get it back on the road. Perhaps I can update the installation to a newer version and see if that fixes what ails ?
It seems your HW failed. The DAI stands for Digital Audio Interface and is a Linux kernel message - ASoC Digital Audio Interface (DAI) — The Linux Kernel documentation.
Also your HA does not pickup an IP address so your NIC seems with issues.
Try another SSD (installing a fresh HA instance) to see if the issues are HW related or just an OS failure (unlikely IMHO).
OK. I currently don’t have a network cable plugged in, so that part is not too worrysome. I can try another SSD. This is an Odroid N2 (blue) that I have. I don’t know if the ssd is replaceable, I’ll have a look. Did you mean SD card, bychance ?
SD card, or whatever storage device you are using; you need a fresh install of HA to see if HW is the issue.
Great. I’ll try that out.
I appreciate the fast response.
