Have previously successfully added TRADFRI SHORTCUT Button to HA via mqtt but can’t seem to get 2 newer ikea devices, Vallhorn Motion Sensor & Somrig button, to work properly so am wondering if I am doing something wrong or they are just not supported?
They are discovered and added to the device list of mqtt but as you can see are listed as “Unsupported” and don’t appear in my list of devices not have anything listed under the exposes definitions.
Any help or suggestions most welcome before I consign both to the drawer.
Im wondering whther the issue might be thr dongle I am using as its quite old. I am using a cc2531 based dongle bought in 2021 but have fiund a couple of web references saying this is no longer supported so do I need to replace it?
If so any suggestions what I should replace it with, running HA on a RPi 4?
