Problem connecting tuya temperature and humidity sensors

I bought this tuya sensor:
When connectring it identifies as TS0601 / TZE204_…

No entities are recognized (only 2 hidden).
reconfiguring ended with success one time (without changing anything), but at least 10 times it ended with error. I also removed the entry and retried a new connection several times, including removing the battery before to avoid other problems.

Is there anything I can try to get it connected with entities?

I also bought another tuya sensor:
This one connected without problems, (TY0201 / TZ3000…) but in this case only one sensor was detected: temperature. Shouldn’t there be also a humidity sensor?

To clarify… These are both Zigbee sensors, and I assume from your mention of reconfiguration that you’re using the ZHA integration.

There seem to be open device support requests for both.

Yes, I am using ZHA and this are zigbee devices.

I checked the page with devices working with zigbee before. There is one similar but not identical. Unfortunately the difference was not clear before I got it. The devices for support request also seem to be not completely identical. Ok, bad luck for me…

If they’re on the Z2M device list you could get another dongle and run ZHA and Z2M side by side. I do this for a couple of problem Tuya devices and it works quite well. Not ideal, though - twice as much to go wrong and probably more expensive than simply binning the sensors. I’m running HA on a RPi, so I had to get a powered USB hub for the dongles.

Good suggestion. Ill take a look and think about it. Also using HA on RPi.
I am not sure whether it’s worth the money for me, I am a newbie and currently using only about 5 zigbee devices.
