Problem getting Conbee II to run in HAOS 6.1 on a Proxmox VM

Hi all,

I have Home Assistant OS 6.1 up and running as a VM, running on Proxmox. Need USB passthrough for Conbee II to the HAOS VM, but its not working.

Actions taken

  • USB passthrough to Home Assistant OS VM is done via Device ID
  • Conbee II is visible in Supervisor - Hardware
  • Reseted Conbee USB dongle on a Win 10 machine
  • Added an USB extention cable to the dongle

Issues

  • The Phoscon web app is not available on http://IP_TO_HAOS/pwa/login.html (should it be installed on HAOS VM?)

  • Adding deconz as an integration it asks for an IP address. Typing the HAOS IP generates a API Key error (which kind of makes sense if its not responding and I cannot link it)

  • Using Supervisor Official Add-ons for Deconz, installation fails with

  • Proxmox VE 7.01
  • Home Assistant OS 6.1
  • Home Assistant Core: 2021.7.4
  • Deconz Conbee II firmware: 2.12.03 / 7/12/2021

Hmm… I get a similar error when I try to add Terminal & SSH Add-on…

Maybe there is some issue with the installation?

Solved both issues, they were related: DNS. It’s always DNS.

Updated DNS in Supervisor to the same as my router.
