hi all,
i have to install Home Assistant on my synology manually as it’s not supported by Docker (DS212+)
I follow this tutorial:
https://home-assistant.io/docs/installation/synology/
First part is working, but if i have to run this command in the terminal,
“chown /volume1/homeassistant homeassistant”
it returns this error: chown: invalid user: ‘/volume1/homeassistant’
I did make a new user “homeassistant”.
can somebody help me how to proceed please?

The order of the chown command seems to be incorrect… Try running chown homeassistant /volume1/homeassistant

unfortunately, i still can’t get Homeassistant running on my Nas…maybe try another piece of software…
