Problem “Tuya Smart WiFi” 16 Zone Irrigation Controller

I purchased a “Tuya Smart WiFi 16 Zone Irrigation System” on aliexpress
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EHt9Adt

The problem is that I can’t control the device well with homeassistant. I cannot activate more than one valve. If with their app I use mode 2 which activates valve 1 which is intended for the pump + you can decide to activate another valve for irrigation, but I cannot do this in homeassistant. Below are some demonstrative images.

As you can see in the video, to start irrigation you must first set mode 2 so valve 1 remains active as an irrigation pump and select the valves that will open even more than one by setting a duration. This cannot be done with homeassistant, even if I have inserted all the tuya sensors into homeassistant

I had read this post, do you think it is worth changing the firewall? If it can be done, and how?

You need to state what the problem is so people can try diagnose it. All you have said is that you purchased it.

Sorry but I hadn’t completed the post yet, do you know this device?

This should be it, or am I wrong? Otherwise where can I find it? In tuya?
Yes, I use Tuya-local
Thank you

This is the manufacturer’s website, but there’s nothing that can help me

For Tuya-local and localtuya intergrations you need to use the Tuya Developer portal to pull the local key data or use an android emulator/virtual machine with an older build of their app to get that data. They make it a pain in the ass to do this in the first place.

Else you will be using the main tuya intergration and link it to your tuya or smartlife app user code to sync the devices when you connect them to the app to your home assistant instance.

You can’t use tuya main integration, no sensors are found. I’m using localtuya, I’ve put in all the valves and sensors, but I can’t use them the way I’d like. Example on localtuya I open 5 valves really not both but only one. I would like to find a system to open all the valves but the system blocks me, it’s by mistake. I’ll post more info later. Thank you

Yea when a device does not have sensors but is still listed in the main integration it usually means it needs a firmware upgrade if there is one available.

It’s like with the tuya based deadlatch lock I have, I am waiting to see if a firmware update becomes available since it shows up as unsupported with no sensors etc in HA.

Today I contacted the manufacturing company that made the product in China. I explained my problem to them, they talked to the technicians, but they replied that since I am the only one who wants this change, they will not make any updates for now. What a disappointment.

Yea most don’t care unless there are more than a decent chunk of the userbase that asks for it. It’s why its usually better to try mod it if you have the know how and a guide or invest in a product like that comes with the support out of the box after reviews.

So you suggest me to contact the AliExpress seller and explain my problem. Maybe he, having so many in stock, listen to him.

Greetings.
I also have the same irrigation controller and I have observed that with the integration of Tuya Local GitHub - make-all/tuya-local: Local support for Tuya devices in Home Assistant six areas work by choosing the simple_six_switch. Maybe it is possible to ask the developer for a simple_16_switch and it would work completely

Being that I have the same controller (possibly different name) I got off Amazon - and it only shows 2 channels - I’d be happy to email your same guy if you get me his info.
