Problem with Enbrighten Zigbee Smart Light Switch

I’m having a problem with Enbrighten Zigbee Smart Light Switch.

  1. I can pair the switch to HA with ZHA.
  2. But turning the switch on or off never work.
  3. The switch stop communicating with HA right away after pairing.
  4. HA identify the device domain as light..
  5. The state of the device in the developers Tools

I’m using Home Assistant 2021.7.3 on ODROID-N2+ and ConBee ZigBee USB.

Not sure if there is a fix or how can I debug the problem further.

I ended up replacing it with Leviton DG15S-1BW Decora Smart Switch (Zigbee) which is working really well.

FWIW, I just ran into the very same issue with the same light switch from Enbrighten, also using ZHA. I swapped out the ZigBee coordinator from the Popp ZB Shield (Raspberry Pi) to the SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus, and things started working immediately. I didn’t (yet) change the firmware on the dongle, still researching if that is necessary for my situation.
