Problem with HA Widgets

Hello everyone,

Since updating the app to 2024.1.5-full for Android, my widget function no longer works. For each of my old and newly created widgets, the error message “Problem loading the widget” appears.

I have already tried a lot, including deleting the cache, the entire memory of the app and the app itself. Checked the permissions of the app and the launcher.

But now I don’t know what to do.

Are you using the lawnchair launcher? If so existing issue that they need to solve

I am getting Widget Failed to load error using lawnchair.

Do you know anything else. About the issue with lawnchair and if it has been opened as an issue on their github?

Nevermind i see the issue in the home assisant android github and the link to the tesla related issue in the lawnchair github. Thanks!

I can confirm that I have the same issue. I can create a widget without any problem on the stock launcher on my Xiaomi phone.

It looks like this might be fixed in a recent alpha (now beta?) Lawnchair release.
