I used to use Domoticz. In the Domoticz Z-Wave network, I had a Horstmann HRT4 ZWave thermostat controlling an electrical heater in my office via a TKB TZ88E Switch. It all worked fine. I simply used the OpenZwave UI to add the switch node into Association Group 2 on the thermostat and all worked OK. I’m having problems trying to get the same to work in HA.
I’ve added the two nodes OK, and changing the temp set point on the thermostat is signalled to HA. However, raising the set point above the ambient temp does not cause the thermostat to signal the switch to go to on (or if it does, the switch is not reacting).
I had trouble adding the association to begin with. Adding it through the UI didn’t seem to work, so I had to stop HA and manually edit zfcfg_xxxx.xml
. The UI now shows Nodes 1 and 13 (the switch) in Group 2.
Has anybody got this working? I can find nothing in the community about this.
