since some weeks I use zigbee2mqtt with the HA yellow.
I have some devices which always disconnect after some days like ikea E1743 on/off or ikea E1812 shortcut.
After unpair and repair they start working but then loose connection again after some days.
The devices are all over the house.
I don’t have similar problems. I don’t use ikea. You can try to put any of those devices closer to coordinator just for testing purposes. If it doesn’t disconnect than you probably have weak signal or some blind spot in the house.
Unfortunately it has nothing to do with the distance.I also have enough wired devices and some repeater to enlarge the network.
So looks has to do something with the firmware or the zigbee2mqtt or the homeassistant yellow.
Well I know from my experience that some devices in zigbee network became unavailable in mqtt integration but are available in zigbee network. The problem is, in my opinion, in ping request. If devices doesnt respond to ping request it became unavailable in mqtt integration.
I presume those are battery devices. You can try to change ping settings for device(s) giving you trouble using this z2m docs.
Thank you. Did you tried this? Some of this buttons are only used once a day to set the person to sleep mode or even more less. What makes sense as a max value? 48h?
I tried this on some of my light switches that randomly go offline and than back online. I don’t have problems with battery powered devices. Those switches are not routers as they don’t have neutral wire.
You can try it like this
Ok, enabling the advanced availability set so many devices offline which worked before without problems that I disabled it again.
Perhaps habs I just move over to ZHA again with HA yellow
