Hi there. I’ve been managing an integration and recently introduced a numeric sensor. There’s been a bit of debate between people who like sliders vs boxes. The docs state it should be set to auto. I’m not sure where else this is used, but it would be nice if when sensors were set to auto (or maybe regardless) you could set at a profile level whether sliders or boxes should appear for numeric sensors.
How does auto actually decide what mode to use now?
At the present time, it appears auto defaults to slider, but this might just be for the sensors I have checked and have more logic to determine the UX.
