Hi there all,
I just want to ask an information.
I’ll go in hollyday and because my router sometime it’s blocked,
I want to know if I can set some switch in Home Assistant
with a command that shutdown the power of my router using sonoff
and after about 10 secs will turn back on in order to powen on my router.
This because if I shut down my router I have no more internet in order to power on back again.
It is possible to make a switch with a command like this please ?
Thanks all
Denis

The computer running HA has crashed a couple of times, resulting in an awkward morning because the inside temperature is around 16°C instead of the regular 21°C. To prevent this, I have wanted for some time to create a watchdog device for my HA computer, automatically flicking the power switch if HA becomes unresponsive.
Getting inspiration from this posting , I created my watchdog device using an inexpensive Sonoff S20 smart plug fla…
EDIT: Found it (it was more than a few months ago!):
I have a remote rental property where I have a Zoom router and a Wink Hub that connect various things like thermostats, door locks, etc… which will sometimes go offline and require a reboot.
I have solved the Wink thing with a tuya switched outlet that I can manually toggle remotely to turn off/on to take care of that issue (which is very rare)
Now on the router… I would like to do the same but… turning off the router is no big deal if the tuya outlet is connected to my wan but I cannot turn i…
