Progress indicator for backups

It seems that these go ignored, here’s a request from 2023 since the requests from 2022 went unanswered.

We need a restore from backup progress indicator. No one has any idea if it’s working or not and it’s making us crazy. I have a 35mb backup that I finally abandoned at 2.5 hrs today. No idea why it’s not working -

Maybe logs can go on the observer page? IP:4357?

Progress indicator when Restoring from Backup

I’m sure like me you have had to restore from backup at some point. So the nerves are jangling and the fingers are crossed as you do it. At present there is no indication as to how the Restore is shaping up, no clue as to what’s going on behind the scenes be it good or bad. It would be really useful to have some sort of simple indicator just to show how the restore is progressing - a comfort blanket for highly stressed HA users !
