Hello, I recently has my SD card go corrupt so I upgraded from a R Pi 3 to a 4, and also had a HDD corrupt on a Lenpva all in one PC with touchscreen, HDMI in ports, coax in and other video in and all other usual like USB, ehternet, etc…

Wondering what projects I could try using the old R Pi3 and the 21 inch touchscreen???

Would be interested in using within my Home Assistant configuration or even something unrelated and free standing.

Ideas please, I know others have dome similiar and google searches arent hitting what I am looking for, especially wanting to use alongside my current R pi4 running HA

Well, you could

  • Use it as a kiosk with Chromium
    • And install browser-mod
      • And use it to make noise when stuff happened if you add a speaker
      • And use it as a camera if you add one
