Provide option to limit mobile device tracking to home and not_home

I have installed the mobile app on my phone and my wife’s phone to support specific automations. However, the location tracking in the mobile app does not allow for privacy settings. It would be a nice feature to be able to toggle between basic and extended device tracking. Basic = a simple binary style “home” / “not_home” status. Extended = how it works today (exact location tracking). I personally view it as an invasion of my wife’s privacy to be able to track her exactly location through home assistant. It would be great if you could add this feature. Thank you.

Yes please! I am having a difficult time tracking if we are home or away. The iPhones change MAC address so I can’t use Unifi. NMAP is alos problematic. And so is everything I’ve tried except for the GPS solutions. But with the GPS solutions location is always pushed to HA. I would prefer the HA app to have an option so that it will report only home or not_home. I suppose zones defined would be a nice option as well.
