Hello,
I could really use some guidance on getting Proximity geofencing to work again. Before the new 2024 proximity integration update, my geofencing automations have been without issue since summer 2023.
Now with the new sensors, I have to trigger my automations for proximity to home or leaving home manually by going to the automation and click “run”.
I’ve updated the automations to reflect the new sensors. Sometimes they would work and show distance, distance of travel, etc;
Now “Distance” sensors always show 0 and “Directions” of travel are either Arrived or Unknown when I leave the house.
I’ve disabled and deleted the proximity integration multiple times and commented out my proximity code in configuration.yaml. Searched the forum, Google and YouTube, but have not found a solution.
I have no clue what to try next except to restore HA to a prior version before the 2024 updates.
I’ve attached screen shots of the Proximity Integration and my triggers in the automations for leaving and returning home.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as my geofencing automatons are really needed. Thanks.
