Proxmox - Homeassistant OS migration between two VMs

I have HomeAssistant OS on a Proxmox VM. All works just fine but one day I have accidentally increased VM size up to 90GB which is obvious waste of space. I know shrinking VM disk on proxmox is problematic, therefore I figured I could simply migrate my HomeAssistant installation from one VM to other one. I have created second VM on my proxmox supervisor, installed fresh copy of HAOS and changes IP to fit IP of my original VM. Finally I have uploaded the lates (full) backup of my original installation to my new HA VM and hitted restore. Unfortunately new HA installation is never coming online after that. The VM itself sees to be forking fine in proxmox interface but I can’t reach HA web interface anymore. All of this is happening having just one instance of my AHs up and running so there is no IP conflict. Also all port forwarding rules and so on are already in place. I went through such migration process many times already and it always worked. Can’t figure out what is wrong this time. Does anyone have any idea?
I should have also mentioned, my installation have ssl and duck dns setup. Up to the point where “restore” button is hit all is working fine on the same IP as the original installation but through http. After successful restore my new installation should be only available through https but it’s not happening.

I was trying to migrate from a Pi to a new Proxmox install, and was seeing the same behavior with brand new backups/snapshots. Could NOT figure it out.

Then found this.. Pretty sure that’s our problem.
